SUPERB SURFACES THROUGH THERMAL SPRAYING

Cutting costs – improving quality – safeguarding resources

The term "thermal spraying" covers a range of spraying processes in which an initial material, whether it is metallic, ceramic or polymer-based, is superficially fused and sprayed onto a surface to be protected, which is known as the substrate material. There are almost no limits to the coatability of substrates. The processes are subdivided as specified in DIN 32530 according to the nature of the spray additive material, the manufacture or the energy medium. Every material can be coated and every material can be sprayed. The flexibility of thermal spraying means that there are very many different possibilities for repairing high-quality worn parts. The low repair costs and relatively short down times are major advantages over other repair processes. But in addition to the area of repairs, thermal spraying has become increasingly significant in the production of new parts in recent years.

TLS TeroLab Surface in the GTS
(Thermal Spraying Association)

In addition to other important certificates, all TLS TeroLab Surface production plants have been awarded the coveted GTS quality seal, which is a guarantee of the highest quality standards. Quality was one of the top priorities when the GTS (Thermal Spraying Association) was founded twelve years ago. The GTS now has around 150 members and promoters worldwide, who are always keen to push forward with innovations in a mutual exchange of experience. TeroLab is one of the companies which meets the quality standards from every point of view.
