With the motto "Protecting the Planet", TLS offers the highest quality surfaces produced with the most modern spraying plants and sophisticated spraying accessories. Not only do TLS coatings provide protection against wear and corrosion, but functional layers with new properties can also be created. These high-performance surfaces are used in all sorts of different areas, such as the aerospace, printing, automobile, textile and steel industries, and also in the fields of medicine and power generation. Whether they are face seals or rolls in the printing industry, boiler tubes or screw conveyors – the coated components have a longer working life, improve process efficiency and meet all the demands made on them within the entire production process.

Coating of new parts
TLS provides functional surfaces on new parts provided by customers. Anywhere that local stresses exceed the capabilities of the basic material, TLS coatings offer the right solutions. The range of services covers the coating of individual parts through to large-scale series production.

Complete manufacture
TLS produces machine components in line with plans submitted by customers. The products are supplied ready to use with the required functional layer in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.

Regeneration and repair of components
TLS offers repair and regeneration solutions for components that have come to the end of their working lives. In many cases, TLS coatings are an economical alternative to the purchase of a new component. The multiple regeneration of components to achieve full functional performance is another option that is being used increasingly frequently.

Mechanical finishing
By using various mechanical processes for the finishing of component surfaces, TLS is able to create a wide range of different surface states.

On-site coating
TLS offers coating options in the form of on-site coatings in certain special areas. The skilled, reliable TLS team is made up of experienced staff.

Component and damage analysis
The TLS Technology Team examines existing material concepts so that they can develop and implement suitable, more economical alternatives.

Customer advice
With its on-site support team, TLS is able to provide customers with technically competent help and advice. With this in mind, TLS is constantly updating and expanding its technical product information.

Quality
At TLS, quality and the environment have a major part to play. TLS products meet international quality standards. The company is certified at all its production locations in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and EN 46000; it was the first company in Austria in the field of thermal spraying technology to be awarded the ÖKOPROFIT Certificate, and its production plants have also committed themselves to the voluntary EMAS (European Eco-Management and Audit System). In addition, the TLS Group is one of the 150 or so members of GTS Gemeinschaft Thermisches Spritzen e.V. (the Thermal Spraying Association). All TLS production plants are also GTS-certified.

Technology transfer
Thanks to its Central Application and Development Department in Langenfeld/Germany, which is directly linked in organizational terms with the management in Lausanne, TLS is always at the cutting edge of technology. Its decades of experience in all sorts of sectors of industry form the basis for an extremely useful transfer of technology, from which the entire TLS Group benefits. The company is always right at the forefront when it comes to new developments.

At TLS, most processes are automated or mechanized. Random samples are taken regularly and subjected to metallographic testing. This guarantees absolutely consistent quality and economical series manufacture.
